My iPod classics. Little over year old and has started acting weird. I think it's on it's last legs. Ugh. It wouldn't turn on before so I had to reset it. Plugging it I. Wouldn't even turn it on. Then I tried to update my songs and it froze so I had to restart it. Then again I had to plug it in to update more songs and it froze. Ugh.

Obviously not since its passed black Friday BUT...

Hi, Sorry I'm posting this after black friday but I saw the post and didn't want to leave you hanging.

Apple will no longer have sales on the Classic because it is 6 yrs old and out of date. HOWEVER, if you check ads of local electronic shops such as Radio Shack, Bestbuy or Staples (if those are near you) you might find some deals. Also, Apple or Gamestop will probably have refurbished Classics at a much cheaper price.

Hope this is a bit helpful.

only lasted a year? I had a 2004 one and still works. Maybe its the usb cord. I thought my 2004 one was dead because it didn't charge then tried a couple different cords and it worked. Was using my usb from my iPad 3 which didn't work on it. Ending up selling it and getting a Nano 7th gen for 20 bucks more. Hate the nano. Miss the click wheel and the thing is just way way too tiny.
