Any Canon EF-S 60mm f2.8 Macro lens owners?

What are your thoughts on this lens? How does it perform for macro work? Portraits? General photography? When/where do you use it? How does it fit in with the rest of your kit (what else do you have)?

I have heard this lens is really a gem. On par with the 100 2.8 Macro, as far as sharpness goes. Check Pbase or photosig for examples of this lens in action

I'm new to dslr photography so keep that in mind but I really like this lens. I've had it for about six weeks and it takes great macro shots of flowers. This is not the lens you want if you are trying to take pictures of insects. The pictures are sharp and I'm very happy i bough it.
