TL; DR: iPhone 15 Pro Max Natural Titanium 256GB Oct 24-31. How likely would Applr deliver early, and a lot earlier than promised date?

LONG STORY:
For every iphone launch since the good old iPhone 4S era (except for the jetblack iPhone 7 Plus), I've had almost every flagship iPhone on launch day. That includes 3 overnight camping (twice in Palo Alto and had met Tim Apple in person too), and 4 launch day deliveries outside of the US in Shanghai for the past few years.

This is the first time I have quoted a 4 week+ beyond the launch day delay. I started refreshing the web and the app back and forth since 7:55 pm local time in Shanghai, I could, briefly get beyond the "finishing up" screen for a few minutes around 8:05 pm ish but kept getting errors from when i opted out of trading in. I did not finally get into the store from the web portal until 8:20 ish, and I hesitated for a brief minute since most deliveries are delayed until October. I finally decided to pull the trigger at around 8:28, hoping for an early delivery, and I just got a text from apple, quoting Oct 24 for delivery. There is also NO IN STORE PICK UP whatsoever in the city of Shanghai, the most richest modernest fanciest hub of China, nada.

I was actually hoping for delivery before Sept 28th before my vacation, I briefly recall people in the past with lengthy delays sometimes received their orders just days after launch day.

I could of course visit my local Apple Store on launchday to cop another one, but that means I will have to pay it outright instead of interest-free installment. (not necessarily a burden, but ~800 RMB/125USD a month-ish is nothing, whereas 9999RMB/1400USD is a dent)

Apple has a strong tendency to “beat” their shipping estimates. Typically by a single-digit number of days, but you could always get luckier.
