Are there any rumours on Display Aspect Ratio for OLED iPads?

I’m really hoping for a 16:9/16:10 aspect ration for better video playback as I would want a tablet for mainly YouTube/Disney+/Movies on the go.

I find the current 4:3 AR a little bit of a waste/not video friendly.

Seeing that Samsung just brought out a 11” OLED Tab S9, I’m hoping for an iPad in this screen size & aspect ratio.

I am really hoping that never happens (and probably never will).
There is something I have realized with my Android tablets. The main reason why I wanted 16.9/10 was to have a lighter device for the same video size. But that's not the reality... Why? Because of leverage....
My S7FE is lighter than an iPad pro 12.9 and the video size is the same (despite 12.4 vs 12.9) because of the aspect ratio. So is the S7FE more comfortable? No, because of leverage, the longer the device, the heavier it feels in landscape.
Same for the Surface book 15" tablet vs the S8 ultra, the Surface is heavier (815 gr vs 730), but it feels more comfortable in landscape.
Now some people are simply bothered by the black bars. I am not in the slightest, but to each their own.
And of course a more square ratio is better for portrait use...

iPads haven't been 4:3 in years. The current 11" aspect ratio (~1.44) is sort of a midway point between 4:3 (1.33) and 16:10 (1.6).

Much closer to 4:3 than to 16:10 however. The current ratio of the 11 pro (1.43, just measured) is kind of in-between 4:3 and 3:2 (typical of surface devices), which is 1.5

Iirc, the 11” is very close to A4 paper ratio.

Doubtful. I have the Galaxy Tab Ultra as well as the M2 iPadPro. I love the 16:10 of the Ultra for multitasking and movies. But it sounds like Apple has killed their larger iPadPro plans, so you’d have to go elsewhere to get that aspect ratio.

Ew, I would absolutely hate that. I use my iPad mostly in portrait and it's ratio is just right.
