Was just curious but is there any chance in heck that these will work with the SR MBP?

As long as they are 200 pin 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM, they will work. Didn't see anything along the lines of what frequency those were... but they should work.

its 200 pin and its DDR2 BUT its 800MHz, i was just thinking since the FSB is 800 maybe the MBP could hack it

I'm pretty sure the MBP could deal with LESS than 667mhz, but doubt it with MORE than that. Either way, if it does work, it won't be operating at full capacity...

I believe MB's and MBP's use PC2-5300 and not PC2-6400 like it says on the link. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. I recently purchased a 2GB module for myself and it was PC2-5300 200 pin 667MHz.

Yeah, don't buy it. Although it will work, you won't be using it to its full potential. Get some 667mhz RAM and you will see the same level of performance with more cash in your pocket.

Cool, thanks.

EDIT: Just found a link to an articel as to why this wont work. Worth a read...
