My Dell 6K monitor has slightly given up the ghost -- the backlighting in the upper right-hand corner has failed, which is a bummer.

I'm not necessarily against getting the LG Ultrafine or the Asus ProArt versions -- or even the crowd-sourced Dough Spectrum Canvas, but am not sure what their likely availability is, let alone the pricing -- which I also think will likely be delayed due to the craziness surrounding tariffs these days.

I can live with the backlighting not working, but of course that's not ideal.

I've been actively tracking the Asus ProArt PA32QCV and the most recent release date that's been discussed is June 2025. My 2017 27" iMac was dying and I couldn't wait to replace it, so I bought a Mac mini last month and paired it with the 4K BenQ MA320U instead. The BenQ has been much better than I expected, especially for the price, but I'm going to keep tracking the ProArt display and, if it gets amazing reviews, may upgrade to it from the BenQ.

Earliest 32” high ppi models are Q3 (which is no surprise since Q2 is almost over, Asus model notwithstanding), but some not until Q4.

I sprang for the updated Dell 4K Ultrafine. I run the effective resolution of my monitor so low (2560x1440), that I don't think I'm going to lose much. I love Dell build quality (my current defective monitor notwithstanding). Hate the giant camera on their 6K monitor, though, which I don't use.
