Any downsides to being on 18.1 b1 vs 18.0 b4?

Apart from activitating Apple Intelllingenue, what is the experience of thiose who have gone from 18.0 b4 to 18.1 b1, has it been any less reliable? Battery life ok? Any new major bugs?

All good. Basically indistinguishable from 18.0 b4

Since the NPU is being used more the the Apple Intelligence, 18.1 might have slightly less battery life than 18.0. But you can always turn it back off if you notice any impact. The release notes for 18.1 don’t mention any additional bug fixes or changes outside of Apple Intelligence.
