I have read through a bunch of forums, and it looks like Winclone is the only application to backup and clone my Windows Partition through Bootcamp as long as I am NTFS. My bootcamp is 32 GB Fat32 and I prefer to just clone it and back it up with some sort of reliable/simple solution. I am a bit confused about the restore/backup solution using the DiskUtility program... I just want to back up my Windows in case something goes wrong and I need to restore it to make the drive functional again. Any ideas?

Easiest way - Switch to VMware Fusion:cool:

Just went through this - purchased MBP wanted to transfer everything from MB.
Everything on the Mac HD including VMware Fusion - Window VM , transfered via firewire and restored from external HD, just fine. Repairing Disk Permissions was necessary befor getting VMware to load Window VM.

Bootcamp did not transfer or restore and according to Apple Tech that's right. In order to get back like it was before, you need to re-install Windows and backup image (Window/Programs/Data) or each program separately.

Mac tech could be wrong - If you know of a way, please share it.

Thanks! I have Parallels and happy with this product. I really just want to back up the bootcamp partition so I can restore it if and when my Window XP Fat32 drive gets viruses that are unremovable.
