I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to import a layered PSD into livetype and have have the layers seperate into thier own track. If you open up any of the templates that comes with livetype apple used PSD files, but they take up one track in the timeline and have layers that you can modify and delete jsut like muliti layered PSD.

How do they do this? I am just learning to use livetype and would love to know how to do it. I can easily do it in after effects, but I would rather do it all in livetype rather than AE. I like the quality of the fonts and livefonts in livetype instead of those in AE.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone? At least another site to recomend to ask? There is very little out there that I could find about livetype.

Thanks rower. Yeah, I am really not that surprised that there aren't any responses becuase I really never used it untill I got my G5, becuase it was to slow to use on my old machine.

Livetype is great if you have a fast machine, and I really like the quality of the fonts, it's ALOT better then the text tools built into FCP.

ill let you know tonight, i bought the pro series final cut book. ill look in the index and see what i can dig up.
