any good 4x games on iPad?

I found Ascendancy, having remembered that MOO2 pretender from ages ago. While it looks good it has a few interface problems and is still the drawn out "damn, when will anything happen" 4x space game it always was. Still I don't feel $5 for it was a bad deal.

Would love to find a moo2/mom clone for the most part.

I'd be more ashamed of the blatant plug, if it weren't exactly what this thread was asking for: check out Distant Star, a heavily MoO-inspired 4X space game for the iPad (and, as of last week, for the iPhone and iPod Touch).

There's a really good new 4X RTS Space Game out for the iPad called ALIEN TRIBE 2. It has great user reviews and looks like this something really enjoyable. I will definetely buy it the next days.
