It's a 1.67 GHz 160 Gb Hard drive, 2 Gb of RAM, 17" screen, running 10.4. Anyone have any suggestions on a good FPS kinda like the ever popular Combat Arms? Or something kinda like Counter Strike?

Unreal Tournament 03, but that is an arena shooter with exaggerated physics. Or maybe one of the Rainbow Six series, a one shot kill, strategy shooter. And the original Call of Duty.

I forgot all about Unreal and Rainbow Six, thanks!

I also didn't know that CoD would run on this thing, damn.

OpenArena is free and plays great on my G4 with the graphics maxed.Upgrading your RAM would be a good idea though. It is is an arena shooter with exaggerated physics or maybe one of the Rainbow Six series, a one shot kill, strategy shooter.

Yeah, original CoD, CoD: United Offensive, CoD2, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, Ghost Recon, Lego Star Wars 1 + 2 (if that's your thing).

Probably loads more, but those listed were ideal on the 1.67GHz 17" PBG4.

Thanks all, Urban Terror was sweeeet, and I really liked the original CoD. Also, I really loved playing Rainbow Six. Good stuff. No One Lives Forever is next on my list. :)

No One Lives Forever is one of my fav games. Actually runs better on PPC than intel macs...

If you sneak around, you can get to hear funny conversations.

Rogue Spear!!!! Well actually all the old rainbow six games. Rainbow Six, Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, Rogue Spear Urban Operations, and Rainbow Six Raven Shield.

My start to Pc gaming was all on a clamshell i book, feels good to look back on it. I actually really miss the quality of those games, great tactical FPS, nothing plays like that anymore.

If you enjoy first person shooters go for it. Also Star Craft, you could load up Star Craft and the expansion Brood War. They should run well. Great games if you enjoy Real Time Strategy.
