Hi, first and foremost I hope everyone and their loved ones are well. 😊

A couple of weeks back the touch id on my (2017 Ipad Pro 12.9 Model A1670) stopped working. Now there's like an internal shakiness, cloudiness, and smudge on the screen. Any thoughts on what could possibly be the problem? What could be a possible home solution? This is just really bad timing. Using the iPad for work purposes. I can’t take it to a repair shop. Even if I could would it be worth the price to even repair it. UGH!

Have you tried applying pressure to the smudge? This worked in another thread.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried for a couple of minutes and unfortunately that didn’t work. :(

Could be a few different things but nothing is going to fix it except for a swap from Apple or a new device
