Stuck on contract with VZW on 2 lines. Will cost me several hundred to get out of that. Since the 3gs is still $200 for the 8gb Im looking at $400 for the phones plus my ETF with VZW. If I could get the iPhones for like $99 like they are currently offering the 3g for it would be a bit easier to swallow.

Any idea when ATT will have refurbed 3gs' ?

You are mistaken about the 8gb being 200$. There are only 16gb for $199 and 32gb for $299
AT&T seems to only offer refurbished iPhones of the previous model so when the next iPhone comes out, that's when the 3gs will most likely be sold refurbished.
