iPhone Any idea when Google intends to release iOS 12 updates to support Carplay in Google Maps and Waze?

Didn't realize this forum was here to Ask Apple question... let alone Google. I was merely asking for speculation... I mean... this is DISCUSSION forum after all.
Since Waze is out to beta testers and shots of Google are now showing up, the best guess is 2-6 weeks...depending on submission of final app and Apple approval, of course.
Waze is in beta with carplay support. Might be some mention of Google Maps in the same thread:

Waze actually appears to be at Release Candidate phase as of this morning. So soon, I think.
Here's hoping and watching!!!! More excited about this than anything else with iOS 12, lol.
I figured Google Maps would be available day 1, since Apple went to the trouble of showing it off back in June, and they've had months to test it privately since then. It's not like carplay is doing much more than mirroring what your phone is doing, with the exception of a few GUI changes. Hopefully it's released this week.
It’s actually a bit more involved than mirroring, but, yeah, I thought it would be available Day 1 too.
Speculating... I reckon it will be in Google Maps’ next update, and they update around a couple of times a month on average, last one was a week ago, so before the end of the month as a rough guess.
