I kept screwing around and procrastinating and missed the iPad sales at Best Buy.

I would like to pick up a basic 5th gen for my wife for Christmas and was hoping there might be another $249 deal. Does anyone have any insight as to whether there might be at least one more sale at Best Buy (or Target, Walmart, etc.)?

Kicking myself for sleeping on the deals.

Maybe Apple will restock their refurbished ones for $279.

Otherwise, the next $249 sale is probably Black Friday 2018.

Best Buy sale wasn't the best sale so don't kick yourself. Best Buy has the 32GB for $279 plus tax and Micro Center has them for $299. The better deals are the ones with 125GB for $399. You could price Match any online store like Micro Center and B&H photo if you are set on Best Buy and Target. That's $30 cheaper the prices before Black Friday.

Actually, tomorrow is the iPad Best Buy sale. They have the 32 gb models on sale today for $279 but I'd imagine tomorrow will have better, more varied offers.

I have a 32GB iPad and whenever I add movies to it when I travel, I have to remove some games. So when I upgraded I skipped over the base model because after a few updates, I had no more room. The price difference (when you price match) between the 32GB and 128Gb is $100. Apple really should stop selling 32GB iOS devices. When you add videos and photos, then apps and movies... you will be close to filling up. Or if you the type that's gonna surf the web and check email then you should be fine.

I have to respectfully disagree. The 32gb model is just right for me. I don‘t travel with my iPad and use it at home. Most of my music, videos, photos, books, notes, documents, etc. are either in my iTunes library on my computer or iCloud. I can access these over WiFi and therefore don’t need massive storage on my iPad. So the 32gb model is priced just right for my needs.

Costco has the 5th gen iPad for sale for roughly $270. You can get a $25 off $250 code off of eBay. I did this yesterday and got one on order for my wife.

Crap, never even considered Costco. I just picked up an iPad at Best Buy for $279. Still, decent deal as far as I'm concerned.

The past few years Best Buy has been having Apple deals at the end of the year. One year they were offering $0-1 for iPhone 5SE and 6s. Awesome if you snagged the deal. I'm waiting for some accessories to go on sale.

$499 is a good deal for an iPad Pro. There is enough room too. Looking the prices of the 9.7in iPad Pro, the 10.5 at that price point is a good deal. Adding tax will put it around $525. Micro Center and Target have that deal right now. MacMall also have them for $599 ($74 more).

I jumped on this deal over the week. Updating from my Mini 4 which is starting to get a bit long in the tooth with iOS 11.

Wow really? It took me under 5 minutes to update. But I used my iPhone to update my iPad. You just hold it next to the iPad and it uses the info. The only thing I had to do manually was enter a few passwords. Kewl part was I didn't have to enter any of the wifi passwords, as long as I had my iPhone. Nice addition to iOS 11.

Not sure but it looks like Target has been very consistent with their sales. Right now the 10.5 255GB is $685 (includes tax). That's $60 cheaper than most online stores and cheaper than their Black Friday deal. I see a store with the same specs as an Open Box that $3 more than the Target price. I doubt if you gonna get any lower than that after Christmas though.
