That's an iPad case. I've got one in front of me!
I've seen the same one advertised on eBay and did wonder as I am also looking for a decent case for my newly ordered MacBook air 13 ultimate. There doesn't seem to be any decent ones available in the uk.

Ah! Thanks for the reply. Is it any good? It's advertised as a Macbook Air 13.3" case. I've already sent the seller a question enquring about the item.

EDIT : I found the model number of the product. It's Belkin F8N070EA. And it's apparently for the MBA but I cant find any review or any other info other than that same pic. Strange.

Be interested to hear the response from the seller.

It's a good case for the iPad but definately does not fit a 13.3 Air. I cannot see any info from Belkin that they have ever made one specifically for the Air but the seller seems to state that it is for the 13.3??

According to the seller, the model number is F8N070X and a quick google search does prove it somewhat although I still dont see it on Belkin's site or any review for the matter. How is it for the iPad? Is it slim and form fitting? And what about the latch? It looks... different?

I'm very pleased with it for the Ipad, good fit, durable outside and soft inside.

The latch is actually just a piece of leather lace that you wrap around the two 'things' (it's attached to one). Works remarkably well and looks fine. I was put off the 'Paul Smith' sleeve by the popper and the thought of pushing down onto air to close!

I would buy another for the air if it existed, but like yourself, I cannot find any further info other than the model number and same picture. It also does not appear for sale anywhere else other than the ebay seller we've come across. It would be nice to see buyer feedback somewhere!

It's going to be a £45 gamble!

You mean the latch is similar to those manila envelopes? Where you tie the lace around the other end? Simple and effective. I think I'm gonna take a leap of faith and order it. The seller seems to be reputable enough.

And then again, it might all backfire and I would have better off ordering off WaterField. Grr. Tough decision. It'd be helpful if you snapped a few pics of the case with your ipad inside. It might push me to join the Dark side. Just saying

The X in the model number seems like it might be a prototype/experimental. This is just a guess based on other products like cellphones.

Like a Concept? Then it shouldn't be out on sale hmm. It does state on the eBay listing its sealed in a bag but its not in retail packaging.

Read the release. It is for the part number given.

I know - my post to you says that. ;)

Seriously - are you being charged by the word on your messages?

Reminds me of The Three Amigos...
"Three Amigos, Hollywood, California. You are very great. 100,000 pesos. Come to Santa Poco put on show, stop. The In-famous El Guapo."
