ANY instant messaging solution in 1.1.3?

i have tried everythign and nothing works....

meebo and iphone.beejive are both crashing safari and going super slow

apollo IM doenst work and i cant find that tiny code fix in installer app

and mobile chat straight up doenst work.

MobileChat and Apollo IM both work. Refer to this post. All tinycode hosted was a host file with this appended to the bottom...

If nothing of the above works.. try this:

Add

65.54.179.216   nexus.passport.com
65.54.183.203   login.live.com

65.54.239.20	messenger.hotmail.com
65.54.239.21	gateway.messenger.hotmail.com

65.54.179.193   loginnet.passport.com

to:

/etc/hosts
and
/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/hosts

Wait for the iphone/ipod to restart and then launch Apollo.
