I'm about 100 miles south of you and my phone seems ok.

every now and then, my iPhone will switch from 3G to EDGE, which is really annoying. but I can still use it

p.s., OP, where in Tampa do u live? I'm in NOG-SOK

I'm SOG by the air force base and I have no signal. At times EDGE will kick in, but nothing constant. seems like an outage
