Hello,

I am a graphic/web designer looking to work on a project with an iPhone programmer to develop an application that I feel would be very interesting to all iPhone users.

Without giving away to many details, the general idea is that currently if an iPhone user takes their phone anywhere outside of the house they'll realize quite quickly that they find themselves in many situations where it can become quite annoying to constantly be changing the phones settings to reflect the current environment.

I would like to make an app that would allow the users to click icons and effectively change the settings of the phone instantly so it will function accordingly to what the surroundings are.

The reason for this is that I find that I am constantly stopping and setting the phone to a bunch of desired settings when I go into the theater, to a restaurant, etc.

The goal is to get this app up on the iTunes app store, or distributed through an independent website for a reasonable cost, and any profits would be distributed evenly between myself and the programmer. My part in the project is to develop any graphical/web needs, as well as developing a project plan/documentation. Of course I am open to suggestions and ideas, but I am prepared to do anything that is not programming related.

Please contact me via private message if you are interested and would like to know more.

Thanks,

Jeff

(P.S. I hope this isn't against the rules of the forum, if it is, please feel free to delete this message)

Really?

There isn't even a work around in any way? Is this truly impossible, or simply not easy?

It's truly impossible via the SDK. There are no work arounds that will get approved for the App Store.

If you want to write an app that targets jailbroken phones and try and get the user subset to pay for it then you can possibly do what you want: I have no idea as I've no interest in jailbroken apps

Others including me, thinked the same kind of app.

Apple doesn't give you the way for doing this easily, and they will not approved such application in the AppStore.

Like robbieduncan, I'm not interested in no AppStore applications.
