does anybody here use an IRC client, if so what is a good one to use for mac. I am using x-chat aqua right now and I am having a little trouble figuring it out.

I'm using Colloquy as my irc-client at the moment. It seems a little bit too simple for my needs, but it isn't bad. At least it's easy to use. I would appreciate some info of other irc-clients, too...

Another vote for Colloquy

I use it daily and while it doesn't have all the usual whiz bang features implemented in the same way as other irc clients, it does what I want and more.
It's also updated frequently.

use irssi,

to change windows (rooms) hit esc+num. so on linux when you are using irssi and you have 5 channels open, you would hold [alt or ctrl; i forget) then 1-9, etc. etc. But with irssi running in os x's terminal you just hold esc for 1.4 seconds then hit 1-9, etc. etc. to change channels. irssi > *
