Hey all!

Wanted to start up a chat to see if there are any other members in here who do any laser engraving?

I started our about 2 years ago with a diode laser, then grew to 3 diode lasers, then got a 150w OMTech co2 (returned due to issues) and a fiber laser which I eventually sold.

About 2 months ago I got a 5w UV laser and 3 80W OMTech CO2 lasers that I am running my business with.

Curious what you guys use and share some examples of your work!

Very cool. I've been casually researching lasers, but haven't pulled the trigger on one yet. My wife makes candles, and I've started making concrete jars for those. I was thinking about getting a laser to see if i could engrave stuff on the side of the concrete jars. Lots of really cool items here.

Have a photo of what you mean by a concrete jar?

But yeah I love the laser engraving, I am hoping to make this my full tome

Here are a few of them. It's a fast drying cement mix with various powders for the coloring. You have to seal it with a waterproof/heat resistant sealer, but after that, it makes for a nice jar for a candle.

I like it for the same reason, I'm interested in the lasers, because you get to create stuff exactly how you want it.
