Has anyone found an easy way to rip and HD-DVD using AnyDVD and then getting it onto your Apple TV?

Using handbrake / visual hub is easy for standard def DVDs, but going the HD-DVD route seems to be tough.

It just so happens that I have found a guide that may be of use to you. It is for playing on PS3 or XBox but could easily be adapted for AppleTV by converting the audio. The guide lists all the software needed and is very well written. It involves recoding VC-1 to H.264 which could take up to 50 hours according to the author!

It can be found here :

I have been trawling Doom9 forums for information and this seems to be the best and easiest method.
