It seems odd to me that the Mac Mini is running a lower speed core duo than the macbook, at only a few hundred less.

Is there any rumour about Apple updating the mini in the next few months?

Perhaps they are waiting for a Core 2, rather than just a mhz upgrade.

look for iMac upgrades first, it cheap for Ghz on Macbook thne it is on a iMac(still the iMacn would be faster however)
