I have the late macbook but i'm posting here because I wanna find out if it's the same for you Air people.
The flickering is not apparent but still, I think it's what's causing my headache and eye strain when looking at the macbook for longer periods of time. I tried to raise the refresh rate and it helped a bit but i'm still feeling nauseous and this has never happened before for me. The flickering disappeared when I lowered the resolution but instead it got blurry because I wasn't running native resolution.
I'm using pstubes profile and brightness at 50%.
If the background looks completely fine on the MBA I think I should switch to Air, because I can't have it like this in the long run.
