Had my uncle pick me up a copy of Office X for my powerbook, problem is I asked for professional (with virutal PC) and he got standard.

When I asked him about it, he said Professional was not in the store, he didn't see it (black box), the only one he saw was the grey box standard.

Can anybody confirm this? I heard that virtual PC is nota MS product, so maybe thats why they dont have pro in the company store?

Virtual PC was not originally an MS product. It was owned by connectix. However microsoft recently acquired the virtual PC product line.

If you have not opened the box why not try to return it. Also if you're a student you get a pretty hefty discount on office I believe.

ya but you don't get the discount on Professional (with Virtua)

ONly on Student/Teachers Edition which is not upgradeable, later on.

:(

cheers
