Suggestion use flickr app to take pics/vids. And save them to flickr as private or public. When big is fix just download them

The photos app is broken, not the camera. You can't save anything to Photos from Safari or apps, so a third party app isn't going to solve the problem.

I was sad to see my camera not working, thanks on the tip for Flickr oh maps location does not work also.
