Looking for some feedback from thoes of you brave enough to be running it on the Air 2020 specifically the i5

1) Battery
2) Did they Fix the heat problem with the Software ?
3) How snappy is it compared to 10.15 ?

I searched "This forum" but only came up with a bunch off SSD upgrades etc ... my theory is it was designed with BSur in mind .. and the issues people have with heat are based on Square hole round peg of 10.15.6 even though they release an update last week, which was strangely larger on my new Air2020 than my 2017 Pro (NTB) but it could have just been some updates for the T2 side of things on the Air ...

thanks for your feedback

I don't have info to help with your question, but I want to say your thread title is a bit confusing. It seems like "11" (or "it" maybe?) autocorrected to "in". You can update that by editing your OP.

I don't have a MacBook Air 2020, but I was surprised how well it run on my ancient 2015 12" MacBook 8GB, 1.2 i3. The MacBook is running closed lid, hinge up, and driving a 27" Dell LCD. Full disclosure the 12" is a bit compromised with an old battery, and slight liquid damage (thanks to my kid)

Anyway he MacSur Beta I installed seem to be running well. One freeze up so far.

I know this doesn't directly answer the OP's question, but it does give me heart that even a low powered, ancient laptop works well. So hopefully a newer laptop will work well.
