Hi all,

The optical drive of my Mini is broken, so I'm looking for a replacement.

As far as I get a slim and slot-in drive, any brand/maker will make? Or is there any compability issue?

The only drive I can get locally is a Silverstone SOD01

Thank you

Thank you

Yeah, I supposed that Apple's hardware would have compatibility, but... it's way expensive for me. 95€ for the external superdrive. Samsung internal units would be as less as 35€, when Pioneer was distributed in Europe would cost up to 50€...

I'm looking for a cheap replacement solution. I know that those units will physically fit inside the mac mini; but not sure if there's any difficulties (EFI related, firmware patches... whatever)

I would like to know this as well. My dvd-drive died in my Mini and I want to make it an HTPC.
