what i noticed that on my m1 mbp 16, the built in trackpad is way smoother when browsing safari compared to using the logitech mouse, is there some sort of option i am missing? tried the logitech software options and doesnt seem to have solved it. It is hard to describe but the trackpad seems to be moving at 120hz but using the logitech one, scrolling seems at 60hz, not smooth at all, thanks in advance :)

I do not own a 3rd party mouse but I've often seen people recommend 'MOS'.

For those with a MX Master 3 mouse looking to make the smooth scrolling mouse mimic touchpad smoothness - I haven't seen a solution to this posted before so I thought I might share mine. It doesn't work perfectly but it's mostly pretty good.

I have smooth scrolling enabled in logi options. I also have an app installed called Mos (which I previously used to make my old mouse scroll smoothly). in the advanced settings of Mos, I have set the Step setting (minimum scroll distance) to 10 (the smallest amount). I also have the Speed setting (scrolling acceleration) to 1 (minimum).

with these settings, I can scroll very smoothly with very small increments (almost 1-2 pixels if i scroll slowly enough).
