I absolutely love Rome: Total War, and i'm just wondering if there are any rumors or anything that are going to be coming to the Mac. I refuse to use bootcamp or anything just for a game...

Who knows. It's not like any current Mac outside of (possibly) the Mac Pro can run the games very well in the first place, so you're probably being done a favor.

I was thinking that project Chopin on Feral's Upcoming Releases page looks like it could be a naval warship from a Total War game; Empire or Napoleon?
Feral don't comment on potential games or rumors it gets to complicated too quickly if we do. However we do have an Upcoming Releases page that you can look at and try and guess what is coming next.
You may keep speculating in the thread but before anyone asks I cannot comment on future games, the last Feral forum member who did was used as ammunition in a balista![]()

Chopin is definitely Empire Total War. The Chopin image is cropped from this sea battle. Specifically, it's of the water line of the bow of the ship on the right. In the Chopin image, note the crest of the wave half way down the image, the red tinge at the top (blood) and the almost vertical shadow on the water at the left, not to mention the large number of cannons protruding from a wooden hull!
It would be nice if this were a port of the Empire & Napoleon Total War - Game of the Year Edition but unfortunately the image does not allow us to determine that one way or the other. Here's hoping though!
Good luck with the port Feral; this is a definite purchase from me!
Empire would be an odd choice, considering how much animosity it generated for Creative Assembly.
I dunno, one of the reasons why Shogun 2 war so well received was because it was back to basics for Creative Assembly. Empire's usually cited as Exhibit #1 for "How Creative Assembly bit off more than it can chew" and "Why can't Creative Assembly fix the problems that have persisted since the beginning of the Total War series?"
Just curious, mostly. Personally, the Total War games are a bit too much for me. I tend to feel real stupid after each battle.
