Any photos update in this release?

Photos is missing a lot of features that were standard in iPhoto. I appreciate it's a new app and hopefully they will eventually come, but did the GM contain any photos updates to the app please?

If not will it be updated when released on general release at end of this month?

If there is updates in the GM can you tell me what please.

I'm hoping that you can add places back individually and to a group off photos. Faces updates to help workflow.

You can add locations to individual or groups of photos. Faces is improved too, you can select multiple faces and assign them to a person.

What about the line of faces on the bottom in the faces album. Can they now be multiple selected in there to either name, or delete as not wanting to name?

I've stopped organising at moment as taking too long for this as have to do it one at a time

Yes, that's actually what I was referring too.

Automator is a neat apple tool that comes with the OS. This site has helpful info specifically referring to the photos app. But the Automator Quick Start page is helpful in learning about the handy tool. You should start there first. I'm still learning myself, but have learned a number of neat ways of using it to make my life easier.

Well the smart album for no GPS works, but the other one I used to have, no names isn't. I want an album to show any names Photos had going but are unnamed, can't find how....

Other than GPS can't see what's changed; extensions... haven't used yet - any tips on good/useful ones?

Faces; handy now can multiple select to either name or dismiss.

Anything else?

I would love to have the option of finding photos with unnamed faces but that option has been omitted which seems to be another staggering stuff up by Apple. First they screwed up iTunes, now Photos. I often wonder if the developers actually use the applications they create?
