I'm always worried about upgrading since my MBP is getting old, but I have been tempted by Sierra. However checking Apple's website it seems like all the really cool features (handoff, universal clipboard, watch unlocking) aren't supported by the late 2011 model. Is it worth the upgrade if my current OS is running fine? Are these features truly not supported at all on mine?

Are you happy with the OS you're using now?
Running smoothly?
No problems?

Or… are you dissatisfied?

Before I traded up to a 2015 rMBP, I installed Sierra on my former late-2011 MBP. No problems at all. Sierra ran quite nicely.

However, I had a faster hybrid SSD/HDD installed, which might've helped.
