Not allowing your consumers a chance to understand the product they're about to spend thousands of dollars on before they have to commit to buying is peak 21st century lol.
iPad Pro
iPad Pro features the M4 chip with Apple Intelligence, 11-inch or 13-inch Ultra Retina XDR display, Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, and support for Apple Pencil Pro.www.apple.com
doesn’t inform you on what your getting? It is custom silicon, with a bunch of Cameras, Ram, Storage, and sensors; all of which Apple touts with interactive mechanical breakdowns. What more could you possibly want to know about the device? It's always important to caveat all statements here with background... I currently own a 2020 iPad Pro, I also used to own the 2018... and I plan to buy the new one tomorrow, I'm deep in lol, but come on... Apples website is basically propaganda. That doesn't inform consumers on what they're actually getting.

Tomorrow I think! When do you think the M1 iPad Pro reviews will hit YouTube?

Performance.
It's like buying a car without having a chance to test drive.
Given your Apple history, it looks like you are buying on autopilot every year. Why should this year be any different for you?Performance.

Fair point... but Apple is putting the hard sell on it this year with their "shortages" talk, you kind of sort of have to jump blindly. But yeah, fair. It's like buying a car that hasn't been launched yet .... you can always wait til it's launched tho.
Regardless to my purchasing decisions, I'm just commenting on the state of consumerism these days, myself included. This isn't an Apple exclusive methodology either, a lot of companies that release very expensive products won't let anyone review them until after their presell period is over and it's more or less sold out.Given your Apple history, it looks like you are buying on autopilot every year. If Apple didn't have a video event, post specs on their site, and offer 14 day no questions asked return policy, your prior post would have some merit.Regardless to my purchasing decisions, I'm just commenting on the state of consumerism these days, myself included. It's reasonable to both consume Apple products and wish their format was different.
Part of being an informed consumer is hearing the opinion of independent analysis, you can't trust a trillion dollar company to provide the reality of the products value. That's just common sense. If Apple didn't have a video event, post specs on their site, and offer 14 day no questions asked return policy, your prior post would have some merit.

I waited a month and a half for my 2020 which wasn’t an upgrade to most people. The refreshed 12.9 is gonna be scarce.Fair point... but Apple is putting the hard sell on it this year with their "shortages" talk, you kind of sort of have to jump blindly. But yeah, fair.
Apple gives everyone 2 weeks to test drive their new purchase. What do you mean “without having a chance to test drive”?Performance.

Performance, Like tech stats? Because they are all listed. Estimated percentage increases from last generation; those are there too.Performance.

Yeah I do not get this reaction against your point. I too would have liked reviews before I order. I mean, I ordered anyways, but I also checked every morning for reviews because I DO want to see pictures and updates on how Center Stage works - the apple store rep said it won't work to make it look like I'm looking at the camera properly in landscape mode, which is a big bummer and one of the updates I really wanted this year. It makes it so I don't use the iPad for video conferencing because it simply isn't properly set up for v/c in the configuration it is in 99.9% of the time for me (landscape, in the keyboard cover).Me thinks some here are a little too infatuated by Apple products to be clear minded about my opinion hah.
I'm not slamming Apple so chill.
I'm simply saying reviews would be nice before orders began.
The fact that people are trying to argue against that is, well, frankly... ridiculous.
