Hello,

I was stuck with PC for a long time as the software chessbase is only available on PC. Even the basic training material like Fritz trainer is not available on Mac. I am kind of retired from the active chess but would really like to see those products on PC.

ICC keeps having dasher on PC but never really made any effort to release a good interface for Mac (though it did launch a decent iOS app recently). I keep wondering why some app developers don't publish their apps on both the platforms at the same time, it should not be a lot of additional effort.

When I used to play chess, I had a "cutting edge" HP with VISTA 64bit. It crashed and caused many many problems. I could never understood if it was OS or the hardware .. but in the end, I had enough of HP and VISTA and chess too after a few losses too many... :( ).

Cheers!
