Tonight, I attempted to use Safari in order to check on some of tomorrow's workshops at an Apple Store. However my computer repeatedly froze and I then unsuccessfully attempted to reach the Apple Store through Google's Chrome
. I took five and had a snack returned to my Mac. Safari still would not work but I finally reached the Apple store through Google Chrome. I checked Safari again and it had finally opened the Apple Store's website.
Now, I have never had any problems with my Mac prior to this occasion. What is rather strange is although I recently upgraded from 2GB of ram with Crucial's 4GB, my iMac seems to require a greater length of time to acquire a website. Now when I open YouTube to view a video, I encounter more buffering than before. I don't know whether this is a Mac problem or whether the Apple Store was having a problem with its website
. Tomorrow, I will check with AppleCare. Any comments?
FWIW, I am using a 2008 iMac 24 2.8GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo
