Someone got me really into the whole racing sim world so I just ordered a black Logitech Momo from Amazon and can't wait to start using it. Anyone else race?

Are you talking about racing on your Mac? I can't wait for Colin McRae as it looks like the first decent game. I've tried Ford Racing, Adrenaline, Red Line... none of them seem as good as PC games.

Why buy an expensive racing wheel when the best way to simulate NASCAR is by making 4 left hand turns in any real car in an empty parking lot?
I play Forza Motorsport 2 on my 360, I was addicted to it for a while but haven't had the patience or time to actually play games lately.

On my, now deceased, gaming PC I played stuff like Colin McRae 2005, NFS series and Richard Burns lots of times!
Now I have the Logitech MOMO racing Wheel hooked up to my "play" MDD Dual 1.25 GHz G4, and F1 CS 2000 and Nascar 2003 are the games I enjoy on it.
Both games, though rather old, are still fun!

I have been waiting for ages for it.... Feral have had "coming soon" on their site for more than a year now.

Seems as though 4 turns must be a little tough. Ask Montoya, Mears and several others who are from open wheel and seem to have little success in the
sport.
Indeed. Racing on the ovals is such a different discipline. It's far more scarier than F1 where you hardly ever race 3 wide @ 350 Km/h close to walls. One mistake, and you're in pain... In F1 one mistake, and you probably end up losing a place.
I love watching all sorts of races, and appreciate the level of skill and complete madness of those people who entertain us by driving their car to the absolute limit: ovals, open wheel, rally.. you name it.
I haven't tried it on the Mac Pro running Leopard, but it does work on a PowerPC G5 Quad running 10.5.4.
As this game is a PPC binary, I understand playing it on an Intel will cause problems. Doesn't it work at all, or just painfully slow?
If... if... you do by any chance also run Windows (pretty much preferred for racing games..) you could try installing Nascar 2003 in Windows...
I understand if this is unacceptable though...
