Any real benefit to buying both the Magic Mouse and the Trackpad?

I already had a Magic Mouse so decided to give the Magic Trackpad a try with my new iMac. I was very sceptical and assumed I'd end up going back to the mouse after the novelty wore off - now I can't imagine going back to the mouse! The trackpad is just so much better...
However, I have to agree with miles01110 - the thought of using either the mouse or the trackpad for ANY form of gaming, frankly scares me

Why?
I tried to have my magic mouse switched out for the trackpad (AKA get a free trackpad). However, they were unwilling to swap them in the store (Rosedale Mall, St Paul, MN for those of you interested) so I've been using the magic mouse. It has been working wonderfully for me doing random stuff on the web and work, however one thing you do miss is the ability to zoom in...actually all multifinger motions for that matter. I'm not bothered by the form of the mouse as I let my hand rest comfortably about the non-ergonomic shape and barely touch it except the sides for movement and top to click. A trackpad in the future will be nice for easy website navigation but the mouse seems fine for now.
Benefit to having both: trackpad for when you're looking at things whether it be pictures, PDFs or website; then the mouse for quickly clicking (right clicking) when working on more serious things like Excel or Word.

I used the trackpad for several months but ended up going back to the magic mouse. For complicated tasks such as video editing, the trackpad slowed me down.
I'm doing to wait until Lion comes out to see what Apple does as far as better trackpad integration.

Because I just don't think they're appropriate for the job. They're both finely tuned in to web-browsing, zooming, scrolling, OS-related "gestures", etc. etc. etc., and they do a brilliant job.
If you're going to be doing some gaming I'd recommend getting a gaming mouse, or even an Xbox 360 Controller for Windows...
The magic mouse lacks a lot of functionality you're going to want for games, especially mmo's if that's your poison, so I recommend a gaming mouse for that.
The trackpad is a wonder, but if you're using it without an augmentation utility like BetterTouchTools you're only seeing a fraction of what it can do.
