iPod Any reason for me to get a shuffle?

I have an old Creative Zen Micro 1gb. I've pondered getting a 2gb Shuffle. This player is to be used while working out since it would be light,flash based and inexpensive. Are there any "killer" features of the shuffle that I am not seeing that should make me want to switch over? Ease of syncing with iTunes would be the biggest benefit that I see. But the Creative player just gets recognized as a flash drive so "syncing" is just dragging and dropping files. Can anyone come up with any compelling reasons for me to get a shuffle to replace the old Creative?

I had a shuffle for a while and I absolutely loved it; it was small, very easy to sync (iTunes picks your music at random), easy/positive controls, sturdy, and had great build quality. The only thing bad about it for me is that is was so small and easy to lose, and the clip is not strong enough; I lost mine after a few months. So for me some of the things that made it great (small, light) were also its shortcomings (too easy to lose).

Clip durability is pretty key too I guess as not all of my workout shorts have pockets. The Creative player came with a silicone case with a clip built into it.

Oh and it's Creative Zen Nano not Micro. It's one of the ones that is powered by a AAA battery, which I don't mind as I have a charger that does AA and AAA for other various electronics around the house (ie Wii Remotes).

I accidentally slammed my shuffle in center console of my car. Multiple times mind you, "Why isn't this closing?" slam, slam.....

The clip got twisted. I bent it back as much as I felt I could without really breaking it. The clip is off by 5-10 degrees rotationally, but still works just fine after 2 years.

I think it's the best work out player around. I clip it to my collar, tuck the wires down my shirt, and work out. You don't need to see the names of the songs because odds are you're picking something that gets you motivated while working out....

The charge lasts for 8-10 workouts on average = 12 hours for me. Just plug it in once a week to change songs and you'll be good to go.

I exchanged my iPod nano with my moms iPod shuffle, no screen small in size in a way it ideal for use in gym or while running. I use my iPod shuffle when I am jogging or running.

shuffle is a great durable ipod for working out or commuting. I am much less careful about damaging or losing it because of its price. plus I love that it picks random songs to sync.

I use a shuffle just for the gym. since they are much more indestructable than anything with a screen, it's better for workouts.

Had a zen micro way back in the day (6 years ago) and it wasn't that reliable. So for $50, yeah go with the ipod
