I don't think Apple usually offers much in the way of sales for the holiday periods. They just update the product lines

Reliable sources have told LoopRumors that Apple is planning a one-day sale on select items in the Apple Retail and Online Stores, Friday, November 25th. Apple has offered its customers similar post Thanksgiving sales in the past, with discounts off iMacs, iPods and accessories.

I have never heard of http://www.looprumors.com but I found this on their web site.

I got an Airport Express cheap from apple.com last year, the day after Thanksgiving. I think it was $99. Check the store, I'm sure they'll have some similar discounts this year

I remember the days of retail on the day after Thanksgiving  I worked at Best Buy and that was nuts... and yes, they did still have us trying to sell people service plans... just while they waited in the realllly long lines. Best Buy = scam as many people into buying crap they don't really need or that Best Buy won't follow through on haha.

Yep, picked up too for $79 (in-store), I believe. It seems the sale deals are OK...nothing that a good reseller or edu discount might make, but occasionally there are spectacular deals (like the AXs last year). Who knows? Maybe we'll see some of those mystery bags or something.

WTF?! THIS ISNT A RUMOR

fyi, Apple, along with a whole slew of other retailers, has Black Friday discounts.

Yes, REALLY reliable rumor huh? APPLE'S DONE THIS SINCE FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. That's just like me saying "Hey, 10.4.4 is coming out soon!", you KNOW it's coming. What kind of rumor is that?!

by the way, LoopRumors isn't much of a rumor site. If you want something good, hell, MacRumors is great. LoopRumors is a joke.

Just my two cents.

Man I wish I could pay for stuff, why does rent have to be so expensive?

I know that my 25th will be spent drinking Starbucks and watching Harry Potter in Imax.

So it's official...now of course the ? is what's on sale and for how much??

I'm looking for a mini & a 15" PB

Looking at the graphics, I see an iPod, iPod nano, mouse, iMac and/or Cinema Display, headphones, iPod Shuffle, iSight, keyboard, AirPort Express, and the rest are unidentifiable.

Man, if they have another sale on AirPort Express, I'm all over it. iPod nano and Mac Mini are maybe's. Damn, if they have an iMac sale, too, I may have to get that instead. Of course, this better all be on sale online! :D

If I recall correctly, all of their major products (iPods & computers) were on sale.

Maybe everything will be at edu discount pricing the day after...
