Any screensavers that will show translations e.g. Portuguese words with English translations (even if I have to provide a list of translations)

thought this for a while. what I want is something like apple's word of the day but instead of just words from a dictionary, put up Portuguese words with their English translation.

Any way to achieve this?

You could create the desired screens in PowerPoint or Keynote, export all as jpegs, import them in photos.

The slides can be as fancy as you want. For example, one could be the English word, the next the Portuguese, and then both. When it scrolls you should get English -> Portuguese -> Both.

Once that is done, go to system Prefs, Desktop and Screensaver, and select one of teh slide show choices. Then select teh photos you created with teh translations.

No program needed.
