Any Significant Performance Issues in the 2013 Macbook Pro Models?

Besides the Touch Bar and the 2 additional USB ports is there really any real significant different in battery life or performance for normal daily activity, email, web browsing and itunes movies, between the Non touch bar model 13" 2016 and the 2.9 Touch bar model? Any help greatly appreciated, chance to save $300 on the non touch bar model for what I paid on the touch bar one

The nTB will probably get significantly better battery life, but it's less suited to heavy-duty work, as it has a lower-powered CPU (talking watts here). For what you describe it should be just as good (as long as the iTunes movies aren't 4K UHD or something).
