Any stock in LA

Hey guys, i am have a friend flying out holiday to LA, and i asked if she could pick me up a wifi only 16gb iPad whilst she was out there. However, my friend in Florida says they are tight on stock.
I was wondering if there were any people living in LA who could drop some hints at how much stock left there is in there stores, and if none, when is the uaual time that they are restocked.

They seem to be getting some each day or so. I frequent the Beverly Center store to check out what's going on and i see them selling ipads each day. I'm usually there by noon. I don't know if they sell out by the afternoon though. Luckily there are a bunch of apple stores in LA that aren't to far from eachother so you can start in the early am when they open and make the rounds to get one.

San Diego is not that big a city, does anyone know about the "notify me" for ipads, well does anyone know if you can call and reserve or you have to be there to reserve? how about restock in the best buys?

The Fashion Island, Newport Beach store is one of Apple's flagship stores and had iPads in the afternoon of the original launch day. They keep a lot of stcok on hand.
