None of the Apple stores near me have them. And Best Buy for some reason doesn’t seem to be carrying them in store yet. Anywhere else I can try? I know I can look at the apple app each morning to see if the local Apple store gets them in.

I ordered mine from t-mobile with next day shipping. I noticed if they are out of stock online you can have the website show stores nearby with them in stock. I didn’t want to take a chance and go across town so I just ordered them next day. Had to order the AirPods without wireless charge ing and the charge ing case separate so now I’ll have a xtra battery case 
Seems to be out of stock online. And all the stores show “call store for availability.” I’m just looking for it with the regular charging case. Now that AirPower has been canceled, my desire fore wireless charging has waned.I ordered mine from t-mobile with next day shipping. My local Apple store said it was't available for pick up till 5/8/19. However, yesterday (Saturday) Apple has receive a huge shipment of them and were available for pick up most of the day and was sold out before close. Both Wireless charging case and standard.
Apple does receive shipment nearly every day so keep checking for update as it may come available again this week.

I broke down and ordered from Best Buy. Look like they are going to ship via USPS. The angry post of someone getting their iPad in a big yellow envelope from Best Buy come to mind. I can easily see them doing that with my AirPods. Sigh..
Ordered from T-Mobile using 611 last Thursday, had them on Friday by noon from UPS. They upgraded me to free next day. The stores are suppose to have them any time now because I kept checking but as soon as Tmobile.com went from Out of Stock to In Stock I was on the phone and was shocked at how fast...
Yep I got mine the nex day after ordering but my ups driver didn’t drop them off until 8pm
. I had to order the AirPods 2 and wireless charge ing case has separate units because the AirPods with wireless charge ing case in one package was out of stock now I have an extra case Buybackwotld.com is buying my first gen AirPods for 37 bucks
T-Mobile is currently out of stock on their website the Apple AirPods are first gen Apple AirPods with chargeing case are the 2nd gen (wired chargeing case) and is out of stock

Also keep in mind that just because apple.com or the Apple store app shows that it's unavailable for pick up doesn't mean they are out of stock. They keep certain amount available for pick up for those who want to order online, and they set aside for walk ins as well.
Just an example. Apple store app and on apple.com showed as if the AirPods were out of stock at my local Apple Store. But when i was there earlier today, there was an express lane and a bunch of Airpods on the table ready to sell. While I was there there were 5 people in line buying and more were coming.

I winded up buying it online from Best Buy. I bought it without the wireless charging case. I don’t have charging pads and without airpower coming out, it doesn’t really interest me that much.
