Hello all
So I have a HTC 8X(WP8) at the moment, but im looking to jump ship to android.
Thing is, i would call myself 'tech savvy' but when it comes to android, there seems to be so much to learn! So Im looking to see what people can come up with, for a phone and a solution to my problem.

I have experienced iPhones, and HTC one's and I can say for sure that I dont want a cheap feeling plastic phone. So it basically cuts Samsung out of the equation. But at the same time, I dont know many phones other than samsungs that get good battery(dont mind if non-replaceable, just want it to last moderate video watching etc.), expandable storage(or 32gb non expandable) and good build quality.
To be clear, i dont mind plastic phones, but i like them to feel robust and expensive.
I have a maximum budget of £250, since im halfway through contract.
I would prefer used, but good specs rather than brand new but o.k specs.
I've been looking at the Sony Xperia S/T, or the LG 4X HD, but they are nearly 2 years old, and I have heard that android phones dont have the best support for new updates.
So, is there anyone with any suggestions?

I was going to recommend the Moto X, as I believe it's the perfect phone for someone coming from the iPhone (or in your case a WP8 device). But since you're in the UK (I believe?), you guys can't get them there yet, correct?

If that's the case, I'd recommend something like the One or even the next Nexus phone, if that's a possibility.

Depends

Depends on your other priorities but:
- Price: wait for the Google Nexus 5
- Endurance (battery): Moto X (if that is an option)
- Craftsmanship: HTC One

it seems that the Moto X isn't available in the UK, which is a shame because it looks like a great phone
