I'd like to know too. The price down at Apple is just silly, and they don't even include the USB-C charging cable or the AC lead that plugs into the other end of the brick. It's as if nobody cares about the user experience for the user who splashes out £79/$99. That's a lot for a naked brick and a non-extending plug.

I hope not. Third-party chargers have caused a lot of damage over the years. Same with the charging cables. Amazing how many people I've seen at Amazon using 15 W cables to charge their MBPs! Best to stick with the Apple stuff for something that might fry your machine if it isn't right.
