this has nothing to do with your phone, it has to do with your network and coverage for 4G. do you happen to have tmobile?

there's nothing a jailbreak tweak can do to give you signal. if you are not in an area with the 1900 MHz 3G/4G, you will only get edge unless you get the newly tweaked iphone 5's that have AWS 3G/4G support (1700/2100 Mhz)

My phone will sometimes switch to Edge in areas where I have plenty of LTE signal. I have to toggle airplane mode on and off to get my LTE back. Is there any way to just disable Edge?? It's completely worthless to me, and I'd rather just turn it off.
