General any tweak to control audio pan??

i have a hearing problem in one ear (since forever) :(

when i use the iphone pan slider, it won't stay just slightly to the left, it 'clicks' into place...a little past where i want it, or back to the center.

is there a tweak/app to control this? trying to get a perfect balance...
