I am wondering if any updates or improvements are scheduled for Apple Page or Apple Notes ?
I am using Page as my main word processor ( after moving from Word) and am transferring to Notes from Evernote. I like both and don’t have any major reservations about either. But - there are aspects that I expect that Apple will continually work on to keep these bits of software up to date to keep me using them. I would hate to think they let it linger - like they did with Aperture.
Are there any rumours of updates coming in the not too distant future ?

No scheduled updates that I'm aware of but Apple has been fairly consistent about updating its iWork apps (Pages, Keynote, and Numbers). There are some things that I would like to see Apple improve with Pages, but as of now it's a good free word processor and layout program that's hard to beat.

I would have to agree about Pages. I use it extensively and think it is a great program. Notes (although I am using it) I think they need to keep up to date because of what else is out there.
I know Apple argues they are a hardware company ( as opposed to a software company like Microsoft) but software is often what keeps us using their products.

I sure hope someone finds the improvements. I just updated Pages to version 8.0 and haven't noticed any changes. Not only that, but for some reason the update would not automatically download to Pages. I had to first remove the old version of Pages and then download the new version from the Mac App Store. This is the second time I've had to do that when updates to the iWork Apps were released. What's going on with that?
