I am using a very important application that is OS X only. I assume they will be upgrading their software for M1. I know you can run ios apps on M1 mac but is there any possibility to run M1 Mac apps on ios? Would love to ditch the laptop so I can run this on my iphone 12.

Pretty sure you wont be able to run macOS apps natively on your iPhone anytime soon. You can run something like jump desktop though, and dial in to your mac from your phone, if that’s a solution for you.

iOS will never be able to run Mac apps. Apple will not make AppKit available on iOS.
