any way to backup ATV manually?

Originally I had my apple TV paired with my iMac where all my iTunes library resided and synchronized with my ATV. However recently my iMac was stolen from my house, and I still have my ATV with quite a bit of downloaded movies, TV shows, music videos, etc.

So my question is are there any possible solutions to backup the actual data files from the ATV hard drive? I think I may have read somewhere once that there was a way to login via SSH?

Keep in mind I no longer have a Mac either just a PC.

You can connect via SSH regardless of whether Mac/PC. Try Awkward TV and use the ATV USB Creator, very straightforward, just need USB.

Thanks Coogee, exactly what I needed however do you know if once I install this if it erases everything on the ATV? From what I can gather it does once you have to hit the Menu and - to finish the install of Akward TV. Am I correct?
